Our Mission

vAI Email is a next-generation email client that transforms how you interact with your inbox. Built with AI at its core, vAI Email helps you communicate more efficiently, organize messages intelligently, and get more done with less effort. Our mission is to make email work for you, not the other way around.

Why I Created vAI Email

As a software engineer, I (Sumon) found myself spending hours each day managing emails instead of doing actual work. I was frustrated by how outdated email clients were, despite email being the most critical communication tool for professionals. I envisioned a smarter email experience that could understand context, anticipate needs, and help users accomplish tasks faster. vAI Email was born from the belief that AI could transform email from a source of stress into a powerful productivity tool.

Built on Open Source

vAI Email is built using the excellent open source foundation of Zerodotemail, to which I've added significant enhancements including:

  • A fully integrated calendar system for seamless scheduling and time management
  • Enhanced AI chat capabilities for natural interaction with your inbox
  • Smart appointment detection and event creation from email content
  • Improved mobile responsiveness for on-the-go productivity
  • Custom UI improvements for a more intuitive experience

I believe in the power of open source and community-driven development. By building on Zerodotemail's foundation, I've been able to focus on creating innovative features while maintaining a robust and secure platform.
